A HomeAgain microchip is your pet's permanent ID. This microchip -- the size of a grain of rice -- will be harmlessly implanted beneath your pet's skin. This tiny device provides your pet with permanent identification, which gives them the best chance of coming home if they become lost. Unlike a collar, this permanent ID can't fall off or become impossible to read.

Pet shelters, animal rescues, and city pounds will always scan every lost pet they find to see if there is a microchip. If a microchip is found and your pet successfully registered with HomeAgain's database, HomeAgain will use this ID to contact you and reunite you with your pet.
